Ahead of the Westminster Hall Debate on Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing in the UK, taking place today, Tom Greatrex, Chief Executive of the Nuclear Industry Association said,
“If we want clean power and energy security, then we must safeguard our ability to manufacture our own nuclear fuel. For that to happen we need urgent action on a financing model for nuclear projects, both large and small, to protect jobs and keep the lights on in a net zero Britain.”
