In accordance with Euratom regulations, the European Union has been notified of the further extension of the Paks nuclear power plant’s operating life, the CEO of MVM Paks Nuclear Power Plant Zrt. announced on Tuesday in Paks (southern Hungary).

One of the Hungarian companies, which is involved in the retrofit projects of Paks Nuclear Power station (Hungary) is EASTIMPEX, they are consequently refurbishing turbines (together with a UK partner) and now they are actively searching for new foreign partners with whom they could bid for upcoming tenders. In addition to the turbines, Eastimpex are widening their activity and looking for foreign partners especially in the fields of:

  • pumps
  • valves
  • other mechanical accessories
  • in the field of electricity / control

Eastimpex primarily focus on the equipment/instruments/spare parts supply, however they would also be happy to cooperate with a UK supplier regarding the installation on site.
